I wanted to go with a mix of house and hands up on this track so that is why there are so many house influences (and perhaps some trance?). I am not sure if I would call this hands up or house, it's a blend as you pointed out already.
The problem with intro's and outro's is that they need to be multiplications of 4 to make them mixable. This usually results in 16 or 32 bars (0:30 - 1:00). As most people will listen to the radio edits, I focus more on a 'mixable' intro and outro which might be a bit dull. I will keep it in mind in the future.
