I like the idea. I hope that you don't mind some tips. You could take a look at the volume of some of your sounds. Piano and strings seems a bit too loud. I see what you try to do with the melody but I would say, try to keep it simple, every bar does not need a different note segment . Also the offbeat could use an offpad on top of the bass (or sidechained pad) to fill up the empty space..
