Murka (Мурка) - is one of the most famous songs in the genre of Russian chanson. Presumably in the 1920s-1930s, a well-known "criminal" version of the song appeared. The plot of the song "Murka" is perceived by listeners as a conditional, like a collective story from the life of criminals. At the same time Murka, or, as specified in the song itself, Marusya Klimova, actually existed.
