Rocco vs. Bass-T - Tell Me When (S.B.P Bootleg Mix) - Smirnoff - 04-07-2019 Rocco vs. Bass-T - Tell Me When (S.B.P Bootleg Mix) Rocco vs. Bass-T - Tell Me When (2007) RE: Rocco vs. Bass-T - Tell Me When (S.B.P Bootleg Mix) - Smirnoff - 04-07-2019 Rocco & Bass-T (also: Rocco vs. Bass-T) were a German DJ and music producer duo, consisting of Rocco (Sven Gruhnwald) and Bass-T (Sebastian Göckede). Publications were made from 2000 to Göckede's death in 2013. The duo was also under the stage name Canarias, SveN-R-G. Bass-T, Punk Freakz, C.R.E.A.M. (also: Cream) and G & G as well as various other pseudonyms known. Gruhnwald and Göckede got to know each other in the late 1990s and together they set up a production studio. In the year 2000 both changed at the same time to Aqualoop Records, the music label of Pulsedriver. From then on, they released joint songs and remixes while continuing their solo careers. After Gruhnwald was successful solo in the years 2002 and 2003, reached in the middle of 2003 for the first time a common single, The Sign, the German sales charts. After that, the common commercial success subsided initially, but new songs were regularly released. Since 2002, exclusively for the Future Trance compilation songs were produced under the pseudonym Punk Freakz. The music style was largely in the area of hard dance and hands up. For both styles of music, the duo's works were at times style-defining. After the common album released in 2006 N-R-G & Bass Gruhnwald put off the pseudonym SveN-R-G and then produced only under the better known name Rocco, so from SveN-R-G vs.. Bass-T now Rocco vs.. Bass-T was. In 2008, Gruhnwald produced a cover of the 1988 Kim Wilde song You Came for the Future Trance United project, which was co-operated by Göckede, and was able to re-enter the German single charts after more than five years. Also in 2008, both decided to take the trend towards house music into account and produced under the pseudonym G & G House and Electro Singles. In 2011, the single Beautiful Day of this project, originally from U2, reached the Ö3 Austria Top 40. After Göckede's death in July 2013, the joint publication Computer Love of the G & G project was published posthumously, which was then continued solo by Gruhnwald. The project Art of Punk was taken over by an unknown person. All other common projects have been discontinued. In 2003, the duo launched the compilation series Hardbass, which appeared twice a year from now on. The first CD was mixed by them, while for the second CD one or more well-known DJs were engaged. Until 2012, the DJ mix was under Bass-T vs. Rocco, in 2012 the project Art of Punk was founded. The style included in the early years, especially Harddance and Hands up, and occasionally Hardstyle, since 2007, the second CD was almost entirely Hardstyle pieces, while the styles of the first CD varied. After Göckede's death, the compilation was continued for four issues and finally set in 2016 with a The Final Chapter issue.
