One, two, three, viva l'Algérie ! is the slogan chanted by supporters of the Algerian national football team.
It comes from the slogan chanted by the Algerians during the war of national liberation: "We want to be free! ", "Become Want to be free, Viva l'Algerie" and then in 1974 "One, two, three, viva l'Algérie !" After the match won 3-1 against Sheffield United Football Club.
During the "Arab Spring", in many countries, protesters took over and adapted the slogan, for example in Libya: "One, two, three, viva la Libye", in Tunisia: "One, two, three, live Tunisia" or "One, two, three, Viva Sarkozy".
During the World Cup in Brazil, the Belgian fans were inspired by the slogan they changed a little: "One, two, frites, viva la Belgique".
